💻 RTX 5080 Disappears from Official NVIDIA Store

The RTX 5080 (16 GB GDDR7, MSRP $999) disappeared from the NVIDIA US Marketplace on October 30—following the RTX 5090, which was removed around October 16. The RTX 5070 Ti remains the top card in the catalog: the RTX 5080 page still displays "from $999," but the minimum price in US retail is already around $2,000.

🌍 Blackwell Shortage Persists: The RTX 5090 recently returned to the catalog at $5,599 (nearly 2.8 times the $1,999 MSRP), and NVIDIA has not commented on the matter. Rising prices directly impact the cost of GPU infrastructure for rendering, local inference, and training.

👤 You cannot currently buy the card in the NVIDIA store. Rumors suggest that NVIDIA has shipped vendors the last of its 16 GB chip supplies, while a 24 GB version is expected by the 2026–2027 boundary. It is advisable to wait for the card's return to the catalog before overpaying resellers.
