🛠 Pre-orders open for Aina AI ring with screen and joystick

Startup Aina has opened pre-orders for a ring with an OLED screen, joystick, and microphone: it shows what an AI agent is about to do, and you confirm or cancel it with a thumb gesture without pulling out your phone. Battery life lasts up to 18 hours, prices start at $399, and shipments begin in January 2027.

🌍 In the AI ring race (Pebble Index 01, Sandbar Stream, Oasis, Natura), Aina is betting on managing proactive AI agents rather than health tracking: a screen with Cues prompts and an approval gesture is a way to confirm actions without a phone.

👤 For iPhone and Mac owners, the ring allows confirming agent actions, dictating notes, and controlling calls, music, and Apple TV. The product is early: software is still being refined, and Android users have nothing to wait for.
