🛠 Universal Modder: Any AI Agent Mods Almost Any PC Game

Author rehan-remade released an open-source framework, universal-modder (MIT, Python, ~914 stars in 24 hours), on GitHub: skills, the um CLI utility, the fal MCP server, and a shared knowledge base that allow agents — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot — to modify single-player PC games. The agent determines the engine from 12 scenarios, reads code through decompilers, generates assets through fal, and tests the mod in-game.

🌍 The 'agent + skills + MCP + live environment testing' cycle is applicable to automating closed systems without APIs, and the knowledge base populated by agents makes the experience reusable.

👤 Installed via the /plugin install universal-modder@universal-modder command (Claude Code); requires Python 3.10+ and ffmpeg, graphics via fal are paid. Only purchased single-player games without anti-cheat.
