OpenAI has moved ChatGPT's voice mode to GPT-6 models (Astra, Sol, and Luna), connected it to email, calendar, and Slack plugins for end-to-end voice actions, and enabled the creation of documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and websites by voice command in ChatGPT Work — globally from September 23, 2026.

🛠 OpenAI updates ChatGPT voice mode

ChatGPT's voice mode has been moved to GPT-6 models — Astra, Sol, and Luna — and connected to email, calendar, and Slack plugins: end-to-end actions are performed by voice without text input. In ChatGPT Work, the assistant verbally creates documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and websites. The update is available from September 23, 2026.

🌍 Voice is transforming from a "question–answer" interface into an execution channel: direct access to work plugins and the creation of work files in a corporate environment. The claimed agentic capabilities are currently supported only by an OpenAI post — without technical documentation.

👤 Simply update the ChatGPT app to check your calendar by voice, dictate emails, work with Slack, and create documents in ChatGPT Work. The agent gets access to the contents of email, calendar, and Slack, as well as audio — review the service terms.
