Anthropic employee Jake Eaton (@jkeatn) showed works created by Claude Opus 5.5: the model writes Python programs of about 7,500 lines using standard libraries, pixel-by-pixel imitating strokes of different brushes — without references, only from 'knowledge' of artists. The demo was released on September 22, 23 minutes after the model's announcement.

🌍 Industry: The LLM does not 'paint' itself, but writes deterministic rendering code — image output becomes a coding task, where frontier models are strong. Anthropic shows the coding capabilities of its flagship without launching an image product.

👤 The demo cannot be repeated — the source code has not been released. There is a working path: the GitHub project AI-Painter-Harness — CLI aipainter, 10 styles from Van Gogh to Caravaggio, offline mode without an API key and rendering in 5–15 seconds.
