🛠 YuE2-ComfyUI v0.4.0: Edit notes before 'performance' (September 14)
The pytraveler/YuE2-ComfyUI pack for song generation with the m-a-p/YuE2-3B model in ComfyUI now features a score editor: a window with piano roll, sheet music, and ABC text where notes are edited before 'performance', and the model re-sings only the modified measures. The pack outputs 48 kHz stereo songs from a style description and lyrics.
🌍 YuE2-3B (Apache-2.0 code, CC BY-NC 4.0 weights) works in two steps: first a symbolic ABC score, then its 'performance' — a rare mechanism for targeted melody editing in an open-weight format for music models.
👤 It is installed with a single git clone in ComfyUI custom_nodes: six workflow templates will appear in the browser, a 40-second track takes about 4.9 GiB VRAM with offload, and the YuE2 Write Song node will write style and lyrics from a single line of an idea.
