Avito has launched the 'Personal Ranking | Avito ML cup 2026' competition on ODS: for each feed (feed_id), participants must predict the scores of candidates so that those with which the user will perform a target action rank higher. The metric is NDCG, with 128-dimensional embeddings and a history of up to 256 events available.

🌍 A major marketplace has opened anonymized data from real production outputs—a rare case for the industry. Evaluation by NDCG on a hidden test set reduces the risk of overfitting to the public leaderboard.

👤 Participants receive an industrial dataset and two baselines: CatBoostRanker (YetiRank) and Transformer. The prize pool is 1.5 million ₽ (750k/450k/300k ₽ for the top 3), teams of up to 4 people, 5 submissions per day, and registration is open until December 8, 2026.
