🛠 GitHub Moves to 'Agentic Software Delivery'

At GitHub Universe on October 28, Copilot app (parallel agent sessions), Copilot projects (preview; agents in multiple repositories), and Copilot Fusion (GA) were presented — routing selects the LLM and mode (Single, Cascade, Critique). GitHub Enterprise includes the full Copilot suite, with billing based on AI credits.

🌍 The platform is being restructured for AI agents: 4 million CPU cores, 160 PB of storage, 50 Tbit/s of network, and Git is split into storage and compute. Pay-per-use billing with AI credits instead of subscriptions makes inference costs variable.
