Black Forest Labs Releases FLUX 3 Image Klein Weights

Black Forest Labs has released the weights for FLUX 3 Image Klein, a 5.6B parameter model that performs text-to-image generation, single-reference editing, 10-image composition, and in-image text rendering, under a license that allows free commercial use for companies with revenue up to $5M.

🎨 Black Forest Labs Releases FLUX 3 Image Klein Weights

The model performs text-to-image generation, single-reference editing, 10-image composition, bounding box layout, and in-frame text rendering. The distilled version (16 steps) works in ComfyUI with int8 on 8 GB VRAM, and there is a Klein Base for fine-tuning and LoRA.

🌍 BFL's internal evaluations place Klein above Ideogram V4.5 and FLUX.2 [pro]: +91 Elo in t2i and +70 in editing compared to FLUX.2 [klein] with 38% fewer parameters, but the methodology has not been disclosed. Day-one support for ComfyUI, Diffusers, vLLM-Omni, and TensorRT-LLM strengthens the open-weights segment.

👤 Weights are on Hugging Face: int8 outputs a 1MP image in ~4 seconds on an RTX 5090 and <9 seconds on an RTX 4070; frame elements can be recolored, moved, and deleted via text. Commercial use is free up to $5M in revenue — large companies should check the FLUX Kommunity License.
