Anthropic adds live dashboards and animation generation to Claude

Anthropic has released the Dashboards and Motion tools for Claude in beta: the first builds live dashboards from data in Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse, Databricks, Snowflake, and Salesforce, with the SQL query visible under each chart, while the second generates animations as editable code via the /motion command, with MP4 export.

🛠 Claude gets live dashboards and animation generation

Anthropic has released two tools in beta. Dashboards builds dashboards from Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse, Databricks, Snowflake, and Salesforce data — the SQL query and update time are visible under each chart. Motion, via the /motion command, generates animations as editable code without a video model, with MP4 export. Docs, Slides, and Design are now free on all plans.

🌍 Claude is becoming a BI environment: querying corporate data without writing SQL or filing IT tickets, with export to Amplitude, Grafana, or Hex. Visible SQL is for audit, not a guarantee of correctness.

👤 Dashboards are available on paid plans, Motion on Team and Enterprise. The claude.ai/design site will close on December 14, and its chats and public links will not be migrated — save what you need in advance.
