VTB and Finance University Launch Student Competition 'Fintech Academy 2026'

VTB and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation have launched the all-Russian student fintech project competition 'Fintech Academy 2026' with a prize fund of 1.5 million rubles and applications open until October 11.

💼 VTB and Finance University Launch 'Fintech Academy 2026'

From October 5 to December 11, teams of students and postgraduates from Russian universities (18+) will refine their MVPs and prototypes for real business tasks in two tracks — 'Fintech Without Borders: The Bank of the Future' (VTB) and 'Efficiency 360' (Finance University). The prize fund is 1.5 million rubles for six teams.

🌍 For the industry, this is a direct hiring channel: the best teams are selected for the Finance University's Business Incubator and pilot their solutions at VTB. Last season had 700+ participants, and the prize fund increased from 1.2 to 1.5 million rubles.

👤 If you have an MVP or prototype: the stack and specialization don't matter, you can participate solo or in a team of 2–5 people. The first solution is due by November 1, pitches are on November 10–15, and the final is on December 11 in Moscow. Registration is open until October 11 at 23:59 MSK.
