fal (a platform with the MiniMax H3 Max API) has released the H3 Max Director mode: the model generates not a set of clips, but a single continuous video stream while preserving characters, locations, and plot. The prompt can be changed in real time, directing the action “on the fly.”

🌍 “Live” interactive video streams are a new class of task for video models: the model must maintain characters and the scene over time and respond to new prompts without interruptions. The economics are changing: billing is by seconds of stream, not by clips.
