Researchers from Yamanashi University and RIKEN turned male mice into fertile females. The Y-CUT method removes the Y chromosome — healthy XO females are born, which produced offspring.

🌍 The technology opens the way to cloning endangered species from a single male and accelerates the creation of genetically modified animals. Limitation: XO fertility works only in mice.
