✨ NVIDIA introduces NeuMatEx for neural material creation

NVIDIA has developed NeuMatEx, a differentiable inverse rendering method that extracts high-quality materials from a set of photographs. Unlike PBR, this method models complex effects such as dust or fuzz through a latent space, rather than baking them into the color.

🌍 The technology solves the problem of artifacts when creating photorealistic assets, allowing for the automated production of complex materials (clearcoat, scattering) that previously required manual labor.

👤 Users will be able to create ultra-realistic 3D objects simply by uploading several photos of an object, without requiring deep knowledge of rendering physics.
