🛠 Tencent releases Hyra 2.0: a research agent that accumulates knowledge
The Tencent Hunyuan team introduced Hyra 2.0 on November 2, 2026 — a new generation of research agent. Instead of one-off answers, it independently develops scientific models, processes, and tools, saving reusable lessons in a shared Books database.
🌍 Unlike Hyra 1.0, which operated on a "solution — experiment — metric" cycle, Hyra 2.0 is built on three agents: Overall, Mission, and Worker. It is connected to a real research environment and converts lessons into skills: each task makes subsequent ones cheaper and faster.
👤 All artifacts are open on GitHub at Tencent-Hunyuan/Hyra-results: HyInv, HyPLM-Flash, and HyFF weights, along with technical reports, are available for verification. Speed is not quality: the sources do not provide accuracy metrics.
