🎨 An Ecosystem Grew Around Open MOSS-Image in a Week
OpenMOSS-Team released MOSS-Image on October 11, 2026, under the Apache-2.0 license, and within a week, the community assembled a 4-step turbo-LoRA, an 8-step DMD-LoRA, an anime-to-realism edit-LoRA, and ComfyUI nodes.
🌍 Just 11 days later, few-step adapters appeared (the 4-step version has 14,000+ downloads), character reference via Qwen3.5-9B in text conditioning, BBox prompters, and a catalog of 33,937 characters and 221 styles. The barrier to entry for image editing is dropping, and iterations are faster without fine-tuning.
👤 In ComfyUI, you can immediately install the 4-step LoRA (Euler, CFG 1), the ThetaCursed node for reference, and a BBox prompter for precise placement — all open source, Apache-2.0/MIT. Be careful with third-party LoRAs, including uncensored ones: their data has not been verified by anyone.
