🛠 Mirage launches Tesseract — a free creative suite for AI agents

Mirage, the company behind Captions, launched Tesseract on September 22: an AI agent (ChatGPT, Claude, Muse, Grok Bot, Instinct) edits video and creates motion graphics based on a brief, working with an editable project — text, masks, keyframes, adjustment layers, audio — rather than a one-off clip. Local previews and rendering are free, with export up to 4K 60 fps.

🌍 Instead of one-off text-to-video — agentic editing: editing a layer or keyframe on command without regenerating the video makes iterations cheap, and the free core with import from Premiere Pro and AE hits Adobe's subscription model.

👤 Free: brief, brand kit, and assets — the output is an editable project with pinpoint edits. But Tesseract does not generate footage or avatars, transfer to/from Premiere Pro and AE is partial, and .aep export is experimental.
