Kuaishou Unveils Kling 4.0: AI Video Up to 30 Seconds in 4K with Stereo Sound

Kuaishou has unveiled Kling 4.0, a new version of its flagship video generation model featuring clips up to 3–30 seconds long, resolution up to 4K 10-bit HDR, a 21:9 aspect ratio, up to 10 keyframes, and up to 15 references. 🎨 Kuaishou Releases Kling 4.0: AI Video Up to 30 Seconds in 4K

The release notes were published on September 27, the lightweight Flash version is already available in limited access, and the full launch is scheduled for October. A single generation: 3–30 seconds compared to 15 seconds in Kling 3.0, 4K 10-bit HDR, 21:9, up to 10 keyframes, and 15 references (video, characters, voice). Stereo sound with dialogue in 9 languages.

🌍 Doubled duration, 10 keyframes, and 15 mixed references are a direct response to ByteDance (Seedance 2.5) and Google Veo in the competition for advertising video and short dramas. Published tests are crowdsourced demos: the defect rate for standard prompts has not been measured.

👤 Long, coherent scenes and the reuse of characters, voices, and products make AI video suitable for advertising, title sequences, and short series. Flash is already available in Kling Creator Studio — it can be compared with Seedance 2.5.
