🎨 Ideogram 4.5: An AI editor for precise edits

Ideogram has released model 4.5 for precise editing of existing images. The Precise Edit mode preserves untouched pixels, returns the result at the original resolution, and limits the edit with a mask. The model changes the color of objects and lighting with consistent shadows and reflections, edits and translates text directly in the layout, and adjusts an enlarged fragment with seamless assembly. It is available in the service, via API, and through partners; open weights are promised later.

🌍 Ideogram is moving away from generation from scratch into multi-step editing, where models accumulate drift: pixel shifts, color changes, and artifacts. Preserving unchanged pixels brings AI edits closer to Photoshop scenarios.

👤 Open Ideogram, select model 4.5, upload an existing image, and describe one change, for example 'make the sneakers blue', and then set the next edit for the result.
