🛠 What OpenAI Showed at DevDay 2026

OpenAI introduced always-on dots agents on GPT-6 Astra with a cloud computer and plugins in 4,000+ apps, and the GPT-6.1 Sol model — 7 days after GPT-6 Sol. The Pro 500 plan for $500 and the Decisions API in limited preview were also released.

🌍 The pricing cycle has shrunk to a week: Sol costs $2 per million input and $10 per million output tokens. According to Artificial Analysis, it scores 52 points vs. 53 for Astra and 58 for the leader Claude Opus 5.5 — "nearly Astra-level" remains an OpenAI claim.

👤 The first dot is included in Pro and Business Premium, and conversations with it do not consume limits. Sign in with ChatGPT in Devin, Notion, and Vercel consumes subscription limits, while Sol, with a benchmark close to Astra, changes the price calculation for non-critical tasks.
