The company has launched FLUX Video Edit [fast] — a video-to-video API that makes targeted edits to a finished clip based on a text prompt without regenerating the scene: replacing objects and characters, changing the background and color, rewriting text in the frame, and translating dialogue with lip-sync.

🌍 Editing at $0.03 per second of finished video shifts the workflow from regenerating the scene to targeted edits: localization and dubbing with lip-sync, ad variations, and post-production without re-rendering.

👤 You can test it immediately via the API: send a clip up to 15 seconds long and a prompt, rendering 10 seconds of video takes about 50 seconds, and editing 5 seconds costs $0.15. Quality is currently confirmed only by BFL's internal benchmarks, and edits involving real people create risks regarding image and voice rights.
