Multiverse Computing released its first 438-billion-parameter LLM for enterprise agents and coding. On the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v4.1.1, it scores 43 — the best result in Europe.

🌍 Spain's first notable entry into the class of large reasoning models: Quasar outperforms Mistral Medium 3.5 by 13 points on the index, and in long context (AA-LCR — 75.0) is comparable to the frontier. Low input token costs and a speed of 176 t/s put pressure on the agent API market.

👤 Agents and copilots can be tested via the CompactifAI API ($0.60/$1.80 per million input/output tokens). It excels in long documents but lags in coding: Terminal-Bench v2.1 — 69.3 vs. 89.1 for Claude Opus 5.
