🎨 Google has released Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash — a production update to the video model
The model extends a scene up to 40 seconds in 10-second steps, relying on 10 seconds of context instead of one second, and fills in video between the first and last frame. 360p drafts render 60% faster and three times cheaper than 720p, with the final output upscaled to 1080p and 4K.
🌍 The model is already integrated into Adobe Firefly, Runway, and Figma Weave. Extending with 10 seconds of context and interpolating between frames provide multi-shot scenes with continuous camera movement without cuts — a direct competitor to Veo and Sora in professional video production.
👤 In Google AI Studio, 360p drafts can be tested cheaply and finalized in 4K. Google AI Plus/Pro/Ultra subscribers get the same features in the Gemini app and Flow — scenes are assembled from keyframes and video references without editing skills.
