🎨 ElevenLabs launches Composer: AI songs can now be edited in parts
On August 25, ElevenLabs introduced Composer — a song editor for ElevenMusic based on the Music v2 model. A generated track opens as a document made up of sections: verse, chorus, bridge, outro. Each part can be edited separately: rewrite the verse lyrics, change the style or length of a fragment, duplicate the chorus, or add an outro without touching the other blocks.
🌍 AI music is moving away from “one-click” generation toward iterative editing: regenerating a single section while preserving the rest brings the tool closer to DAW logic, where the final decision is made by a human.
👤 If the model messed up the chorus, there’s no need to regenerate the entire track — you can edit the specific section. Free plan: up to 5 generations per day; Pro: up to 400 tracks per month for $9.99.
