🚀 MWS Cloud Launches S3 Storage for AI and ML
The company has introduced a new class of Warm object storage optimized for Big Data. The solution is based on NVMe drives and provides speeds up to 1.8 GiB/s with a Time to First Byte (TTFB) of approximately 20 ms. The storage is compatible with the AWS S3 API and supports encryption and replication.
🌍 The emergence of such high-speed NVMe-based S3 storage within Russia reduces latency during neural network training and decreases the need for expensive local infrastructure.
👤 Users can work with heavy datasets and train models in the cloud without purchasing their own high-speed drives, while maintaining compatibility with AWS CLI or boto3.
